Your role
This is an opportunity to lead the development of our solid-state processes that translates our R&D learnings into tangible products. You will play a central role in specifying materials for this application and developing processes that can be scaled into production. Work you're doing include stabilizing and setting up process control of our major processes, understanding yield and reliability of our processes, and designing processes that are suitable for scaling
Your responsibilities
Lead solid-state process development from incubation to maturity. You will closely collaborate with the R&D teams and improve the processes for consistency, stability and scalability. This includes defining key measurable specifications, designing experiments to isolate variables, implementing process controls and following through with failure analysis.
Build a capable team to turn the early stage R&D findings into quantifiable processes that can be continuously improved
Defining physical and electrochemical specifications for the materials of interest.
Introducing and qualifying new processes to our baseline processes.
Identifying tools and facility requirements for scalable production.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience
You possess an MS degree in Materials Science (or a related field) and have at least 5 years' experience in process development
You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in effectively leading a team of engineers and technicians to execute against aggressive timelines
You have successfully scaling R&D processes

You are disciplined in your approach and rely on the application of statistical methods for experiment planning, data analysis, and process control
Experience in the any of the following areas are a plus:
Experience in roll to roll processing
Industry experience developing reliable electromechanical devices for high volume production
You are familiar with quality management systems requirements and are able to develop and implement control plan methodology
