Our team provide the SDK for technologies that power Augmented Reality for the Spark platform. We do this using a combination of technologies developed in-house by our Core Tech research teams as well as third party providers. Examples are, face tracking and plane tracking. As an engineer on the team, you will work closely with both research teams as well as product teams and developers that use our SDK. 
The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with a CV/AR/ML industry background, experience with building SDKs, familiarity with Android/iOS development and an interest for augmented reality. 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  •  
     
    Individual contribution to the software development required to support Camera and Augmented reality experiences across our family of apps.
  •  
     
    Work with research teams to integrate new AR technologies for Spark AR use cases. Complement this by exploring and integrating third party options.
  •  
     
    Build a SDK that provides AR technologies that works for a variety of use cases.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  •  
     
    5+ years of work experience as a software engineer
  •  
     
    2+ years experience working with Augment Reality (especially CV/ML technologies that power AR)
  •  
     
    Demonstrated experience playing a lead role developing a SDK
  •  
     
    Demonstrated experience interfacing with other internal and external teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
  •  
     
    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  •  
     
    2+ years of experience with Android C and iOS development
  •  
     
    Familiarity with Game Engines such as Unity
