Area Sales Manager - Working Capital and Merchant Cash Advance at CAN Capital

CAN Capital is looking for an Area Sales Manager in the New York Metro Area to find, train, and develop 3rd party partnership sales of B2B financial products (Business Loans and Merchant Cash Advances) with Independent Sales Organizations, Vendors, and B2B Service Providers in a competitive and fast paced environment.  This position is focused on driving new business with new sales partners on a continual basis.



• Aggressively seeks new opportunities to expand the company’s referral partner base via networking in person (4-8 days on the field) and over the phone
• Pro-actively develops excellent working relationships with new sales partners, internal team members, and management staff
• Develops an in-depth functional and analytical knowledge of company’s products, services, processes, and policies
• Assists new and dormant partners through onboarding process with sign up documentation, background screenings, prequalification form review and webinar training
• Achieves and surpasses sales goals and budgets for area
• Attends weekly meetings with PSM Team to discuss partner potential and tailor your approach to each partner
• Tracks efforts and performance in a CRM system with minimal oversight
• Monitors market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales
• Advises sales partners and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques
• Prepares weekly sales reports showing sales volume, new/dormant partner potential, and areas of proposed client base expansion
• Tracks deal flow and reaches out to partners on new offers to ensure they have an understanding of their pricing options and how to use the portal
• Obtains information from partners and provide monthly reporting regarding files we did not win due to funding dollars, product features, pricing, and term
• Maintains T+E using expense management software
* 5 years’ experience Business to Business sales, preferably in a management or team leader role
* Financial sector sales experience highly desired
* College degree preferred 
* Proven and successful sales record with B2B products
* Refined ability to understand B2B financial products and solutions
* Drive and determination to generate significant additional new business
* Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills
* Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and the use of CRM tools required
