Consumer Product Marketing Manager: Product Education at Facebook

We're looking for an entrepreneurial product marketer who's passionate about developing a global, Facebook-wide product education marketing program as part of our nimble team. The right person takes a data-driven approach and is strategic, innovative, and tactical. You'll be responsible for understanding and analyzing the target consumer, influencing product strategy, setting the strategy for what and how to educate consumers, and executing on those plans through a range of in-product marketing campaigns. RESPONSIBILITIES
  •  
     
    Craft a compelling picture of the people using your products with quantitative insights, qualitative insights, and audience segmentation.
  •  
     
    Develop the strategy and drive execution for successful programmatic marketing based on audience segmentation and customer lifecycle marketing.
  •  
     
    Own the positioning, messaging, creative assets, and strategies that drive our sentiment metrics, including providing clear guidance to creative teams in the development of creative to optimize and improve campaign performance.
  •  
     
    Lead and manage the efforts of internal cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure quality, on-time delivery of marketing programs and assets across multiple channels, keeping schedules, budgets, and reports.
  •  
     
    Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset, create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems and translate them into easy-to-grasp concepts.

    Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader Facebook ecosystem and competitive landscape.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  •  
     
    BA/BS degree
  •  
     
    5+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing and/or business consulting
  •  
     
    Experience with growth, performance, campaign, CRM or lifecycle/consumer segmentation marketing
  •  
     
    Experience working with product teams (Product Management, Design, Engineering, UX Research, Data Science) and influencing cross-functional teams
  •  
     
    Knowledge of the social media, consumer technology industry landscape
  •  
     
    Analytical and problem-solving experience
  •  
     
    Demonstrated experience on both strategic and tactical levels
  •  
     
    Project management experience
  •  
     
    Communication experience, with experience communicating to internal executive and product teams as well as for consumer-facing audiences
  •  
     
    Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
