IT Program Lead at The Climate Corp.

Position Overview:

At Climate, our mission is to help all the world’s farmers sustainably increase their productivity with digital tools which require our leaders to understand the big picture while being able to dive into the unique agriculture and engineering challenges.  The Climate Corporation is looking for an experienced Corporate IT Program Manager who will lead complex, multidisciplinary Corporate IT projects using their hands-on expertise.  We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking a leadership position and is both business process oriented and technically minded.  This role will need to be a self-starter, and use a friendly, flexible approach in an environment that continues to grow their processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead IT program & project execution across multiple internal IT teams, as well as cross-functional engineering, product, and science teams
  • Enhance the IT project management processes, tooling and templates to improve the operating model maturity of a scaling IT organization
  • Facilitate technical tradeoff decisions between IT and other internal stakeholders
  • Discuss and present technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people
  • Be able to drive and explain your team’s analysis to executives
  • Be comfortable operating with uncertainty, know how to create order from chaos
  • Build credibility and buy-in from teams without authority
  • Collaborate with Stakeholder to create solutions by diving deep into the technology and data
  • Develop and own IT organizational processes

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree 
  • 8 years of industry experience in an Information Technology function
  • 4+ years in an IT project management role 
  • 2+ years of business analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Experience implementing new IT systems, as well as improving upon existing systems
  • Extensive experience with Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure & Services
  • Ability to evangelize and represent a technical community
  • Familiarity with Information Technology standards, policies and management
  • Experience in an IT Leadership function
  • Six Sigma, ITIL, and PMP certifications
