The Human Resources Generalist will work across all day-to-day areas of HR, assisting the Director of Human Resources with the coordination and administration of HR systems and processes. This role will be the first point of contact for various HR-related inquiries and will provide general support to all employees. The right candidate will have solid experience in a broad range of HR disciplines – benefits, compensation, systems maintenance, compliance and employee relations. Additionally, the right candidate will be someone who is self-motivated, process-driven, detail-oriented, flexible, and comfortable operating in a dynamic startup environment.

    Manage the new hire process from beginning to end for all new employees, including creating offer letters, collecting new hire paperwork and facilitating new hire orientation
    Support and coordinate various HR programs, including open enrollment, employee recognition, and the company’s semi-annual performance review process
    Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory training, such as safety and anti-harassment training
    Prepare and process payroll via external payroll service
    Assist in the development and implementation of various HR policies and procedures
    Create and maintain online personnel files, manage employee status changes
    Assist with immigration matters, including H-1B visa process
    Ensure legal compliance by monitoring applicable Human Resources federal and state requirements
    Assist with new hire orientation for multiple office locations
    Support Benefits Administration


    5+ years of human resources experience
    Self-starter who is well-organized with a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment
    Knowledge of HR best practices and experience in LOA, EEOC and ADA compliance
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Strong analytical skills, including reporting, synthesizing data, and finding positive solutions to problems and issues
    Experience processing U.S. payroll, global experience a plus
    Knowledge of employee relations and visa immigration process
    Ability to work confidentially and responsibly at all levels within an organization with sensitive and confidential information/materials
    Experience with Google docs and sheets, possess intermediate Microsoft Excel and PPT skills
    Bachelor Degree -- emphasis in HR or related field preferred but not required
    Capable of delivering excellent customer service and willing to be an all-around team player
    Experience utilizing TriNet or other PEO strongly preferred
