Job Summary

Rubrik is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support our EMEA Accounting function. this individual will work closely with the US HQ account team to ensure smooth and accurate monthly and quarterly close. This person will be responsible for several areas within the General Ledger function, the month end close process and statutory and regulatory compliances. This position will be working out of our Amsterdam office and will report to the US Global Assistant Controller

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage the day to day EMEA accounting operations and accounting team.
  • Proactively support new global initiatives through identification of accounting requirements and ensure implementation of financial controls and process and automated system solutions.
  • Partner with tax, legal and various cross functional teams to ensure international regulatory and tax compliance for all EMEA entities.
  • Continually and proactively drive process improvements through automation, streamlining, implementation of best practices that support scale and improve efficiency.
  • Support external audit and quarterly/annual financials by timely submission of PBC schedules and reporting packages and pro-active partnership with the audit team.
  • Work closely with regional leads to drive global initiative and policies.
  • Manage month-end close accounting operations including – preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis and internal reporting.
  • Be a team player and be willing to take on ad-hoc requests

Who you are

  • BS in Accounting
  • 9-11 years’ experience including in public accounting, preferably Big Four with CPA or chartered accountant.
  • Prior people management experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
  • A strong team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude who drives process improvements to increase effectiveness of the team and minimize room for errors.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines.
  • Proactively set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Able to respond effectively to changing priorities 
  • Strong communicator, both written & verbal; reliable and responsive to email and phone communications.
