Purpose of the Role
The Marketing Manager – Americas is responsible for leading and executing marketing efforts for the US and Canada. You will be tasked to ensure that our various marketing programs in the region are exceptionally well planned, measured, and executed. You will deliver on our marketing team goals for providing sales leads, meetings, and opportunities, and assist with global branding initiatives.
In partnership with the Directors of Marketing, Americas and EMEA, formulate, execute, and measure all marketing strategies in region for revenue goals as well as build our B2B brand.
Help develop and execute and measure tactics to deliver on our goal of driving qualified prospect leads and meetings that lead to sales opportunities and ultimately new clients.
Build genuine cross-departmental relationships with key sales and customer success leaders so that we can deliver on company revenue goals.
Launch and execute our extensive “own” events programs with excellence, including our annual global marquis event, Innovation Day, Executive Dinners, Client and Partner Happy Hours, on an ongoing basis. Where outside resources are necessary, you will manage those resources to ensure execution with excellence.
Execute our ongoing sponsored industry events including assisting sales team with lead generation and coordinating brand awareness tactics such as booth presence, and sponsored content.
Assist and produce region-specific, valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts marketing qualified leads in collaboration with the global content team.
Collaborate with other regional marketing leaders to share ideas, globalize programs and assets and continue to build a powerful and consistent brand impression.
Be a genuine collaborator with the global marketing AND a voice for the unique needs of North America.
Stay abreast of industry news and the requirements of GDPR regulations and, working with our legal team, ensuring compliance.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
3-4 years in marketing or advertising industry.
BS/BA degree preferred.
Positive attitude toward change, devising creative solutions to problems, and in collaborating with different departments, regions and time zones. We make a big commitment to training and want people who are eager to take in all the learning they can!
Demonstrable experience in marketing, with a passion for the field and a desire to quickly acquire and leverage new skills.
Proven experience in program development, execution, tactical implementation and in assisting in creating marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate our target audience.
Comfortable working with databases, numbers, making sense of metrics, and spreadsheets.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
Affiliate and partnerships industry knowledge a plus but not mandatory.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Knowledge of Hubspot (or other marketing automation software) and Salesforce a plus, but not essential.

9:00 Meeting with US sales team to discuss inbound marketing lead generation and automation process.
9:30 Check-in call with design team to discuss marketing collateral designs and revisions.
10:00 Meeting with Marketing Director of North America and EMEA for all ongoing and upcoming events, new content generation, new programs and initiatives.
11:00 US events check-in with external industry event coordinators and organizers.
11:30 Meeting with BDRs to review follow-up status of all inbound leads.
1:00 Coffee with current client or partner in region to better understand industry and target market needs.
2:00 Weekly PR meeting with agency with global marketing team.
4:00 Draft email and review prospect outreach list for US ABM campaign.
4:30 Meet with Partnership team for marketing support and collateral needs.
5:00 Call with Marketing Director JAPAC and training on marketing automation email, event, and nurture campaign workflows.
