An Upwork Program Coordinator, Managed Services acts as an operational resource for the day-to-day administrative activities in key Upwork Enterprise accounts. From account maintenance to talent sourcing and reporting functions, the Coordinator is there to help the extended Managed Services team, as well as our cross-functional partners, get more done, faster. These individuals have advanced knowledge of the Upwork platform and are highly resourceful individuals capable of acting as a Jack/Jill of all trades for everything Upwork Managed Services related. 


    • Coordinate day-to-day operational functions of the Upwork Managed Services solution, which might include freelancer payments, financial reporting, invoice administration, data collection, and oversight of MS delivery/implementation
    • Collaborate with key cross-functional teams: Talent Solutions for Sourcing the best (and right) talent on the platform; Talent Operations for Compliance and other HR functions specific to the MS workforce; Enterprise Solutions for Platform/account configuration, maintenance, and reporting; Finance (Billing and Accounting) teams for invoice validation and overall program profitability monitoring 
    • Streamline communication between freelancers and the correct internal team as well as between client and the correct Upwork corporate contact
    • Troubleshoot and resolve basic platform issues as they relate to the best use of Upwork; triage and escalate the more complex


Qualifications and Experience

    • Demonstrated operational and/or administrative experience with an advanced knowledge of Upwork platform (super user)
    • Experience with large program administration, including experience supporting distributed teams
    • Must possess a high level of business acumen and professional communication style
    • Previous work with or for enterprise-level companies preferred
    • Bilingual or multilingual a plus
