The Social Good team is looking for an experienced Product Partnerships Manager. This individual will lead cross-functional execution within Facebook and with Facebook's Social Good partners to incubate new initiatives for our social good platforms and work closely with product teams on adoption of existing products.
To be successful in the role, you will be a well-rounded 'business athlete, an analytical problem solver, who understands the social impact and non-profit landscape, as well as a dynamic leader and people manager in complex cross-functional environments and with partners. You have great communication and strategic business planning skills, a drive for operational excellence, collaboration, focused on results, a self-starter, and have demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects to drive the growth and success of a business. In addition, you will need to be comfortable working directly with product teams and engineers, acting as the link between the needs of our partners and the capabilities that can be built in product and through development on Facebooks APIs. Above all, this leader has demonstrated success in driving products from inception through launch and consumer and/or partner adoption, and is passionate and energized about accelerating the real world impact of social good products for Facebook’s community and partners. This is a full-time position located in our Menlo Park headquarters with required travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Identify innovative approaches in the market by staying close to partner needs, market offerings and gaps to influence development of new product solutions
  •  
     
    Work closely with cross-functional partners to design new initiatives to grow product adoption
  •  
     
    Develop innovative, data-driven approaches to solve organizational challenges while building strong internal teams and external partnerships
  •  
     
    Stay current with non-profit tools and technology trends aiding the social sector. Be a reliable source of insight on products in the Social Good ecosystem
  •  
     
    Lead an analytical approach to identify growth initiatives, synthesize trends in the ecosystem, product performance, growth, and couple these with insights from partners
  •  
     
    Be a master in cross-functional collaboration by developing deep relationships with key cross-functional partners and coordinating with working teams
  •  
     
    Project manage cross-functional initiatives, drive successful product alpha/beta programs, launches and communications and materials (including posts and best practices) with partners globally
  •  
     
    Distill and surface partner feedback to product teams for new and existing Social Good product
  •  
     
    Represent the Social Good positioning to executive teams, product management, and other cross-functional organizations
  •  
     
    Ability to set priorities, problem solve, multi-task, and work independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  •  
     
    12+ years of experience working with product management, business development or business strategy
  •  
     
    Experience managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and leading multi-stakeholder groups
  •  
     
    Quantitative and analytical experience
  •  
     
    Management experience with track record of increasing responsibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  •  
     
    Experience working with technical teams, with experience understanding how partners can build upon Facebooks platform/APIs
  •  
     
    People, team and operational leadership with project management experience
  •  
     
    Track record of influencing behavior at a variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional managers
