In this role, you will be responsible for defining and optimizing the FB Inc marketing strategy and plans around on topics related to privacy, safety, misinformation, civic engagement and social impact — all aimed at building consumer trust. You must have significant experience working with international consumer brands, managing organizations at global advertising agencies and communicating across the spectrum from mass consumer to niche elite audiences around the world. Analytical, strategic team builders who thrive in a dynamic environment will be happiest in this role.
This is a full-time position based at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park.
Develop recommendations on key markets, product proof points to highlight per market, audiences to focus on, as well as appropriate investment levels, including development of business cases to support the investment.
For key countries, lead the development of the 12 to 24 month marketing strategy and plan to achieve FB App and select product goals - includes recommendation on which markets, products, audiences to focus on, as well as resulting budget and resource allocation recommendations. Drive business case development to justify investment into the resulting strategy and plan.
Establish clear KPIs and own relationship with analytics to ensure impactful testing agenda and measurement plan in place for key markets. Be accountable for reviewing program results to ensure continued improvement of marketing programs.
Contribute to defining playbooks that standardize how work across the organization ladders into the overall marketing strategy, as well as standardize how we make investment decisions.
Masterfully communicate up/down/across the organization to ensure transparency, alignment, and advocacy.
Build an integrated marketing discipline, including growing and nurturing a team of strategists.
Lead an integrated marketing communications (IMC) process in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Creative, Channel teams, agencies and others).
Create an integrated marketing strategy, plan and calendar.
Craft integrated marketing strategies and briefs for major launch moments and campaigns.
Develop processes, tools, templates and training that can helps increase the marketing team's effectiveness at developing integrated marketing communications.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing experience
15+ years experience in a leadership role developing integrated marketing strategy and campaigns, either in-house, agency or consultancy
5+ years experience working on global consumer technology brands/products
Experience leading cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting structure or informally through influence
Experience creating data-driven and creatively-inspiring integrated marketing strategy documents and campaign briefs
Experience in communicating with elite audiences
Experience working internationally
Advanced qualifications in marketing strategy
