Facebook App Monetization (FAM) is committed to build the world's best, innovative monetization experiences that people, content creators and advertisers love. Our mission at Facebook is to build community and bring people closer together. When done right, ads are a discovery engine that enrich people’s lives. Introducing the latest fashion, gadgets, and services that are matched to personalized interests and preferences. While also enabling content creators and brands, big and small, to find their niche audience. As we continue to build more and more socially-powered services on Facebook App that provide meaningful value to people and fulfill our mission to bring people closer together, we also need to find out the best ways to build meaningful connections between people and businesses while they experience the new services such as Watch, News and Stories. Our team aims to create coherent, valuable and trustworthy ad experiences that match the unique user behaviors and expectations across Facebook Surfaces, protect people’s privacy and brands’ safety, and generate values to our people, content partners and advertisers.
RESPONSIBILITIES

    Support and grow the design team
  •  
     
    Responsible for the strategy and direction across all the off-feed Surfaces such as Watch, Stories, Search, News and Groups
  •  
     
    Responsible for Design Excellence on the team and hold the team accountable to ship high-quality products
  •  
     
    Lead and establish strong culture across FAM NYC teams
  •  
     
    Form strong connections and collaborations with partner teams
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  •  
     
    2+ years of industry experience in a people management role on a Design team
  •  
     
    5+ years of design experience
  •  
     
    Visual and interaction experience and experience shaping product strategy
