Product Marketing Director, Transparency & Controls at Facebook

Facebook seeks a leader who is passionate about helping to ensure that Facebook remains a safe and trusted environment for businesses and people. This Product Marketing leader will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Policy, Design and other teams to increase transparency of ads across the platform, building off of existing products like the Ad Library. S/he must thrive as a leader within cross-functional teams, exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills, and have a track record of influencing product strategy and managing complex, fast-paced projects. This is a full-time position based at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park.

PRODUCT MARKETING DIRECTOR, TRANSPARENCY & CONTROLS RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inform product strategy in partnership with product management and engineering across multiple product areas
  • Conduct inbound to understand the needs of a variety of audiences, including people, policy and advertisers
  • Conduct market assessment including impact analysis and competitive benchmarking
  • Lead comprehensive go-to-market strategy, including materials for sales and partners
  • Manage high-priority, fast moving decisions and communications regarding product updates across markets
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS degree
  • 12+ years of work experience, including 6+ years experience in marketing, consulting, communications, or internet technology
  • Track record of influencing behavior at variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional leader
  • Demonstrated experience driving resolution
  • Experience with structured thinking, communications and overall approach
  • Experience setting product priorities and managing and communicating tradeoffs
  • Analytical, data-driven decision-maker
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Masters degree
  • Product Marketing or Product Management experience
  • Experience in the advertising or communications sector
  • Experience contributing at both strategic and operational levels
