Senior Account Executive DACH at BloomReach

Bloomreach is one of the most successful and innovative digital companies of the past 10 years, with offices in the US, UK, India and the Netherlands.  We are looking for a Senior Account Executive for the DACH region. 

The main responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities and to drive our market share in this region.  The secondary responsibility will be to grow our brand & physical presence in the region and look to eventually establish an office with a local team as we grow.

Bloomreach’s flagship product, Bloomreach Experience (brX), combines AI-driven search and merchandising tools with a next-gen content management system (CMS).  brX is the Experience Cloud for Commerce. brX is an API-first, headless solution that is infused with intelligence so you can build unique experiences fast and grow faster.  BRX represents the next generation of front end web technology.

We see a huge opportunity to launch BRX into the DACH commerce market:  Selling to Retailers, Brands, B2B, Manufacturing and Distribution organisations.  Therefore any candidate will ideally have experience selling to this sector as well as existing contacts with potential prospects.  Relationships with DACH agency or SI partners is also preferred.

The ideal candidate is able to create opportunities and drive them into enterprise deals.  We are looking for a motivated (senior) sales professional who is a self-starter and able to expand the BloomReach client base by working closely with the inside sales team, sales engineering and our implementation and technology partners.  We do see an opportunity for this role to grow into a Country Manager DACH role, for the right candidate.

The position is based in Germany and requires occasional travel to Amsterdam & London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a growing company and to directly help us drive the growth of our DACH region.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales meetings and engagement with the DACH commerce market segment (Retail, Brands, B2B, Manufacturing, Distribution)
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas, and win new logos within the region
  • Expand and grow business relationships with new clients and solution or implementation partners
  • Work with partner teams, inside sales and presales teams to develop and manage sales enablement tools to ensure you and partners are equipped to compete effectively and to meet/exceed revenue goals
  • Execute plans to increase product exposure and identify key market opportunities and growth areas within assigned region. Target  clients through dedicated sales campaigns with the inside sales team
  • Respond to or assist partners with RFP’s, bids and other tenders to grow net new sales

Preferred experience

  • BA/BS degree - Strong English language skills
  • Has 8-10 years of field sales experience - preferably with a software vendor in the Digital Marketing space- dealing with new business enterprise software opportunities
  • Is excited by an entrepreneurial role in a growing market with high potential
  • Proven history of exceeding quota with price points equivalent to and exceeding $100,000/year
  • Experience selling new, innovative products
  • Thrives with the challenger sales model
  • Is a great team player who takes the lead in driving initiatives, working across teams (Product Management, Inside Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing) and structuring approaches to new opportunities
  • Has excellent commercial communication skills (written, oral and presentation), a disciplined approach and strong relationship building skills
  • Has the ability to thrive in a fast paced, results-oriented environment, solve problems creatively, think on his/her feet and be comfortable in new situations working with multiple stakeholders
