Frontend engineers at Fandom work on the latest user-facing features to serve our global audience of 200 million monthly uniques. The team builds frontend applications that can scale and serve diverse use-cases for our audience. The team moves rapidly with the latest tools and is seeking help to allow us to work on more projects. 

You have…


  • 3+ years of experience with the full web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
  • A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts (eg. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
  • A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
  • Professional experience with ReactJS or another modern JavaScript web framework (Vue, Angular, Ember, etc)
  • Experience developing user-facing software.
  • Experience with writing automated tests (eg. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape)

Bonus points if you have: 

  • A strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience.
  • Experience with the latest and greatest web standards, including fetch, service workers, etc. 
  • Experience with bundling tools (webpack, rollup, parcel, etc)
  • Scripting experience (python or node.js)
  • Familiarity with a backend language (Java, PHP, Node.js)
  • Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies (unit, integration, happy paths)
