Software Engineering Manager at Groupon
Dublin, IE

Groupon’s mission is to become the daily habit in local commerce and fulfill our purpose of building strong communities through fast-growing small businesses by connecting people to a dynamic, global marketplace for local services, experiences and goods. In the process, we’re positively impacting the lives of millions of customers and merchants globally. Even with thousands of employees spread across multiple continents, we still maintain a culture that inspires innovation, rewards risk-taking and celebrates success. If you want to take more ownership of your career, then you're ready to be part of Groupon.

We are looking for an engineering manager to join our rapidly growing development hub in Dublin as part of the Affiliates Engineering Team. You will be leading a group of engineers building and expanding a stack of Frontend and Backend services using modern tools and technologies. You will help enable us to deliver a scalable, secure, extensible infrastructure to enable huge global growth in the global media marketing team. The system will manage hundreds of millions of advertising dollars. It needs to be highly scalable to handle tens of millions of real-time events every single day. It also needs the capability to support external and internal business managers and technical leaders in the ever-changing Affiliate world.

We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company. We're big enough to have the resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a significant impact. We're curious, fun, a little intense, and passionate about helping local businesses thrive. Does that sound like a compelling place to work?
