Our Groupon Coupons team continues to establish Groupon as an integral marketing and advertising partner of iconic global brands. These brands not only shift the needle towards team and company revenue goals, but they are also a major source of subscriber activation and engagement.

 

As an Account Executive in our Affiliate Coupons team, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing affiliate partnerships within the ANZ market for the International Groupon and Vouchercloud Coupons Team. You’ll assist Account Managers with the growth of our top merchant accounts with a focus on delivering effective campaigns working within our Global Internationals teams.

 

The main purpose of this role is to manage mid and long tail merchants in the retail space while ensuring top quality content is promoted at all times. You will provide focus on client services and deliver the very best service to merchants, working with content teams, liaising with merchant managers and network managers on a daily basis. You’ll recruit new merchants, negotiate bespoke commercial deals, deliver strategic and effective campaigns to drive online ad sales and affiliate partnerships.

A bit about the role

  • Maintaining direct relationships with the assigned brands within the ANZ market retain the relationship, maintain performance and create opportunities for growth

  • Point of contact for all day to day merchant requests such as new content, advertising campaigns, optimizing current offers

  • Establish strong connections within the online marketing and affiliate industry

  • Working closely with content teams to ensure the highest quality of content is delivered to customers

  • Owner of newsletter sends, creating and managing content for all team members in ANZ

  • Analysing and reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual account performance of the channel and affiliates

  • Work closely with account managers, account executives and the wider account management team to ensure the continued success of our relationships with brands while building new relationships

  • Deliver weekly reports and updates on portfolio growth and effectiveness of campaign management and competitor activity

  • Act as brand ambassador at all times and continue to establish strong connections within the online marketing and affiliate industry

  • Consistently exceed and deliver on KPI and revenue goals

 

A bit about you:

  • Prior Account Management or Coordination experience (client facing or agency)

  • Knowledge of online marketing, digital domains and revenue models / affiliate platform tracking highly desirable

  • Analytical approach to data 

  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills, customer-focused instincts and sound judgement

  • Commercially and analytically minded with strong financial evaluation and performance marketing management skills

  • Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, target driven environment with evidence of consistent and current success

  • Intellectual agility and creativity to respond to changing demands and create new solutions
