We're looking for a new member to join our in-house agency. The group supports the branded creative marketing and merchandising needs for Groupon globally by utilizing a variety of digital marketing channels and the capabilities of our in-house photo and video studio to create campaigns that excite both our customers and our clients.

 

Groupon is seeking a copywriter who finds inspiration across all digital channels and understands how to use a business challenge to drive consumers to act. We encourage our people to flex their creative muscles, stay positive, and consistently push to do more, be more and bring more.

 

You’ll spend time doing the following:

  • Collaborate with teams to execute projects across a wide range of 1:1 channels, including Display, Social, Content, and Email

  • Create a wide range of concepts, ensuring the copy supports the ideas

  • Maintain stewardship of Groupon’s tone, voice, and brand standards

  • Collaborate with project teams to plan, analyze, organize and execute assigned projects

  • Partner with designers to develop ideas that are on-brief and on-strategy

  • Follow industry best-practices and provided guidelines

  • Use digital technology effectively to enhance the creative idea

  • Take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously

 

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with creative or in-house agencies

  • Conceptual thinking and the ability to work with a partner to develop and guide idea generation

  • Understanding of the value of the brief

  • A willingness to understand and write across key verticals, including CPG/goods, experiences, travel, health, beauty and wellness

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Experience within 1:1, promotions and/or shopper marketing (preferred)

  • Knowledge of e-commerce and retail

  • Professional expertise and the ability to apply company policies and procedures

  • Easy going attitude that doesn’t take yourself too seriously

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
