Customer and Merchant Services Representative at Groupon

Customer and Merchant Service Representative is responsible for complex support of Groupon merchants and also for resolving end-to-end the most difficult cases, escalated by Groupon customers, together with our merchants. Agent is responsible for contact with Groupon merchants on behalf of Groupon customers as well as provide our customers expected support in escalated cases to provide best solutions to both parties.


You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Respond to all customer queries and difficult cases, escalated by customers and/or CS Representatives internally (via all channels) and resolve them end-to-end
  • Respond to all other Merchant queries (via all channels) in a timely, accurate and consistent manner, in line with Groupon procedures
  • Go that extra mile to ensure an outstanding overall Merchant and Customer experience
  • Act as a liaison with other departments to address any cross departmental issues impacting the merchant and to ensure the best merchants and customer experience, in accordance with the company's standards
  • Manage time and productivity to meet daily individual and team ticket targets
  • Preparing reports and analyses to identify and prevent potential problems with merchants
  • Participation in all trainings, refresh-trainings and meetings organized by QA and Trainers team, supervisors and/or managers
  • Acquiring knowledge and understanding of multiple Groupon tools and processes
  • Performing other duties as assigned by manager(s).


We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Strong language skills (English level minimum B2);
  • You’re proficient in Windows and Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • You thrive in a close-knit team environment and love to learn from those around you
  • Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
  • You are nimble and quick to adapt to shifting priorities, at times under tight deadlines
  • You have strong relationship-building skills, with a high degree of integrity and patience
  • Previous experience working in customer service would be an advantage;
