Groupon Coupons is Groupon's digital marketing affiliate business. We work directly with the world's biggest brands to bring extraordinary discounts to our customers every day. The Groupon Coupons team is looking for an experienced, analytical and commercially minded SEM, Social Ads, & Display Media Manager to be responsible for owning and driving success on behalf of the North American Coupons business and our merchants. The role will involve working alongside the wider marketing, sales and SEO teams to deliver class-leading digital marketing campaigns.

The successful person will be confident and knowledgeable across all forms of digital media, including social ads, display and SEM. They must be able to call on a wealth of experience and expertise to drive SEM growth for the Coupons business, have strong communication / client-facing skills, excellent attention to detail to effectively manage all SEM, social, & display campaigns for the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Coupons organization and help establish processes, best practices and contribute to our growth specifically within the SEM and Display media space.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage all daily SEM & display media NA operations including account structure, campaign strategy, media buying, keyword research, ad copy testing, bid management, conversion tracking, performance against budget, audience extensions, insights and reporting.
  • Be the go-to expert for Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads and other paid networks and build relationships with network account managers to promote new opportunities.
  • Confidently present and gain support for strategic initiatives from merchants and partners
  • Work with the Head of Biddable and Director of Marketing to accurately forecast future performance and feed into marketing budgets
  • Use extensive paid search experience to support account managers and client services with new business pitches and performance reporting
  • Report important metrics and operational insights to the business to monitor workflow and productivity
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to drive the commercial direction of the team and innovate to deliver a class-leading proposition to our clients
  • Work closely with the International SEM team to continually refine and improve processes and operations across all markets
  • Be highly knowledgeable about the product and services offered by the business and make recommendations to drive future tech roadmap
  • Work closely with Groupon family to unlock synergies and share standard methodology
  • Work with the SEM team to deliver integrated campaigns alongside SEO, PR, Social, ECRM, BI and Tech teams
  • Highly aware of market trends, competitors and new biddable opportunities
  • Work with the sales team to help close and maintain new and existing business


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years display and social media buying and management experience, in addition to SEM and biddable experience
  • Expert in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads
  • Experience managing significant media budgets
  • Proven experience managing paid search, paid social and display campaigns
  • Genuine interest and passion for digital marketing
  • Client-facing experience pitching and/or managing new and/or existing clients of all sizes
  • Highly analytical with excellent Excel, Google Sheets knowledge
  • Confident presenter, persuasive with strong client facing skills
  • Educated to degree level
