Job Summary

The Senior Retail Account Analyst is responsible for driving RSi’s adoption and value creation in this
exciting and high growth programme, both with this major retailer partner and the supplier base. This
position will deliver all the reporting , and create more value for the overall supply chain using specific
business processes with benefit for both retailer and the suppliers. The role will apply the opportunity of
retailer collaboration and network effectively within the CPG’s to make sure we work with the right
level of contacts and maximize our impact. The role must be comfortable in a range of situations; from
training teams in new products, features, success stories, to influencing power users, sponsors on major
contract decisions and managing major internal cross-functional projects to bring increased value or
benefit to the CPG and Retailer teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Encourage the use of RSi's software applications through demonstrating the value-added capabilities with the end-users. Users range from supply chain/operations to sales/category management, and in some instances, in store execution teams.
  • Oversee the delivery of the RSi 90 day plan, to make sure we get great adoption and manage expectations from the start.
  • Create a customer user base and network of contacts to deliver against the programme objectives and the customer contract and making sure we influence as much of the business as possible in a short space of time. Some sales influencing skills very much needed here.
  • Work with customer teams to identify their key business needs and develop reporting and processes that assist our customers with meeting their goals. Apply the current retailer agreed processes. Then oversee the measurement of the return on investment through these initiatives.
  • Delivery outstanding service/reporting to all RSi stakeholders. From the analyst using the software to manager who need to understand the value created from the processes.
  • Share best practices and successes around the customer teams.
  • Project management, track and manage all customer requests and response in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management with 3 years Retail experience in consulting, supply chain, operations and/or category management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, particularly Excel or other data analysis software is a must.
  • Good presentation, oral and written communication skills.
  • Project management skills and prior exposure to developing and successfully executing against project plans.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build strong relationships with senior contacts in suppliers, while managing multiple suppliers at the same time.
  • Team-player, positive attitude and flexible.
  • Experience leveraging software to report on retail point-of-sale and syndicated data (e.g. Neilson and IRI) is favorable
  • Experience delivering quantitative insights to address key business problems and measurable ROI.
  • Ideally Python/R (or other coding software) and VBA experience
