3D GENERALIST RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evolve and execute artistic vision at a high production standard
  • Have an understanding of environmental concept art, and industry standards
  • Be able to explore visual ideas, and rapidly prototype these ideas in 3D
  • Collaborate with creative, technical and production leaders
  • Create documentation and guides for internal and external teams in partnership with team leads
  • Collaborate with tech art on tools and pipeline needs
  • Use industry standards and proprietary tools to create content
  • Regularly provide peers and external partners with artistic feedback
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary contributors to arrive at visual goals
  • Experience in artistic styles, with an emphasis on realistic art
  • Knowledge of art and visual design principles and techniques relating to environmental design
  • Proficient in industry standard art tools such as Maya, Houdini, Modo, Zbrush, Photoshop, or similar
  • Experience in art creation workflows (both 2D and 3D), technology requirements and advancements, trade-offs, and challenges associated with 3D art development
  • Experience at problem solving (both alone and in groups), evaluating challenges and providing solutions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Technical experience in standard game engines such as Unity or Unreal, and art pipelines
  • Portfolio demonstrating a wide range of interest, especially in games and/or VR
  • 5+ years industry experience in games or other 3D interactive media, VR development experience
  • Experience as a Senior Artist in charge of significant aspect of visual development
  • Experience with incorporating Matte Painting into environments
