Pre-Sales Enablement Manager at Workfront

We are seeking an experienced, best-in-class Pre-Sales Enablement Manager to enable the global Pre-Sales team to serve as trusted advisors to our sales reps, prospects, and customers by owning the technical win. 

In this role, you will join the global sales strategy and enablement team partnering with the Pre-Sales Center of Excellence and Leadership to arm the pre-sales team with the resources and skills they need to be successful. This position requires strategic thinking, technical aptitude, and tactical execution to deliver measurable outcomes.

This position will report to the Global Vice President, Sales Strategy & Enablement, and duties will include the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an pre-sales enablement program to build a best-in-class pre-sales team
  • Build rapport and respect with the pre-sales team
  • Enable and train pre-sales leaders on how to run and operate a pre-sales book of business 
  • Partner with business subject matter experts (competitive industry intel) to create content and tools to improve the team knowledge and confidence in the business, competitive landscape and industry trends
  • Enable the pre-sales team to effectively position the product, tell a story through a product demonstration, and identify business value and outcomes
  • Provide enablement support to the pre-sales team for key marketing and customer events
  • Coach pre-sales leaders and team members on how to execute on key pre-sales principles including discovery, differentiation, storytelling, building a technical champion, etc.
  • Use in-person instruction, virtual classroom, shadowing/observation techniques, side-by-side coaching and pre-sales leader support to educate and train Solution Advisors on demo and storytelling techniques, product and business acumen, creating a solution vision, and more.
  • Keep abreast of trends in the training and development industry, new sales tools, techniques, and resources to help improve results.
  • Help maintain and use a library of resources in our learning management system
  • Collaborate with global team members and cross-functionally and with pre-sales leaders to increase adoption of training programs, and identify and measure progress of key metrics

Qualification and Desired Skills:

  • BA or BS degree
  • 2-5 years experience in a pre-sales enablement or advisor role
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; ideally experience collaborating with  pre-sales managers, sales managers and pre-sales teams
  • Demonstrates proficiency in 4 key values: Do Great Work, Win Together, Obsess Over Customers, Finish Strong
  • Adept in technical and business knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
  • Must offer creativity for the deployment of training initiatives linked to business outcomes
  • Self-motivated team player able to prioritize and manage projects in a fast-paced, environment
  • Must be fluent in English

Travel: 30%
