Bluevine is looking for a self-motivated individual to join our Legal and Compliance team. As a Compliance Manager at BlueVine, you will play an essential role in supporting all compliance initiatives, refining internal strategies and contributing significantly in Bluevine’s continued success. The ideal candidate is analytical, results driven and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. 


    • Be the primary liaison with Bluevine’s strategic partners on all compliance matters, including due diligence activities
    • Lead AML due diligence reviews and investigations as requested and draft narratives for suspicious activity reports required under the AML/BSA regulations
    • Review periodic reports on complaints, and review trends across products and complaint types, and engage all stakeholders
    • Responsible for continued maintenance and updates to all compliance policies and procedures
    • Support the vendor security risk management function and periodically assess our current and potential vendors for security risks, report results, and provide recommendations
    • Assist with building and implementing new compliance initiatives and programs as applicable
    • Work closely and collaboratively with legal and compliance team to develop internal audit programs and participate in subsequent testing and documentation
    • Coordinate with various business teams for information and required data elements necessary for internal control testing.
    • Support  the Compliance team with broad array of compliance matters (e.g., reviewing applicable regulations, implementation strategy of new rules, internal fraud, preparing training decks etc.)
    • Lead efforts on reporting compliance matters internally and externally
    • Support the development of key compliance risk and performance indicators


    • 3-4  years of experience in compliance related role (banking experience preferred)
    • Be highly motivated and be able work individually and as part of a team
    • Prior experience as a manager desirable
    • Very strong organizational and  problem-solving skills
    • The ability to self-motivate and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment
    • Demonstrated capacity for gathering and scrutinizing data to identify issues, patterns and business solutions
    • Have excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
