IT Engineer at Varonis Systems

Responsibilities

  • The IT Engineer is required to function as a member of the HelpDesk Team.
  • Must have advanced technical experience and skills in the areas of problem determination, creativity, and troubleshooting end user IT problems.
  • Must have demonstrated computer skills, while handing service requests from company users.
  • Take direct ownership over problem resolution through own skills or by timely escalation.
  • Will use expertise, analyzation, and resolution to the user problem at 1st contact via desk side support, instant messaging, phone and remote sessions.
  • Will provide IT Support for company users, and support for enterprise desktop, laptop, mobile devices.
  • Provision new computers and assist with training the users with using the IT Systems.
  • Must handle onboarding/offboarding of accounts and new hire setups
  • Support all conference room setups

 

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in the helpdesk field (hi-tech and enterprise scale is an advantage).
  • Knowledge in Microsoft systems – Windows 10, Office 365.
  • Active Directory and Exchange user management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Knowledge in client networking (such as TCP-IP, DNS – client side).
  • Full time job – committed to Varonis.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to collaborate with team members and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and sense of urgency.
  • High human relations awareness.
  • Patient and kind – User service oriented.
  • Excellent English.

 

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with SCCM
  • PowerShell
  • Experience with C-Level Executive Support
  • Polycom/Zoom experience
