This individual will assist in preparing financial results, forecasting future performance, and reporting of business metrics for various manufacturing organizations. This is an outstanding opportunity for a financial analyst looking to utilize his/her technical skills and to provide financial support to a growing organization.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

    Support standard cost setting process
    Support cost/inventory analysis process
    Develop monthly and quarterly forecasts; support annual budget development process
    Improve financial performance by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
    Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset projects, and close out those capital-in-process projects once they are complete
    Responsible for fixed asset tracking
    Maintain accounting records and support SOX compliance requirements
    Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    Very detail oriented and able to handle vast amounts of data efficiently and accurately
    Ability to partner and influence cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
    Proven analytical and creative problem solving skills
    Ability to communicate with and explain financial concepts to non-finance people
    Demonstrated drive for success and a passion for growth and development
    Ability to simultaneously focus on the near and long term aspects of the business
    Highly organized; maintain a high level of accuracy
    Cost accounting and/or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment desired
    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Education Required:

    Bachelor’s degree in business or finance field required.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    Experience with SAP and BPC desired
