The Business Analyst role will develop and provide strategic technical guidance in identifying, evaluating and documenting solutions and procedures to solve high level business challenges and meet internal and external business requirements. You will leverage your advanced analytical skills and independent judgement to successfully work with clients to analyze, define, model and document data and systems requirements.

You will strategically lead client-facing data gathering sessions in order to understand and define the end-to-end solution to meet business requirements, whilst strategically collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gain agreement on requirements. Defines complex system settings and options, plans and executes solution, integration and/or acceptance testing, and creates advanced specifications for systems to meet highly complex business requirements.

Key duties include supporting the ramp and adoption of deployed solutions post-launch, continuously assessing and addressing areas of strategic improvement and optimization, whilst ensuring processes are followed and any fall out are addressed properly using independent judgement and advanced analytical skills. This role requires expert ability to analyze and/or report from highly complex data from multiple data sources.

Essential functions – Duties and Responsibilities

    Leads and strategically collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to
    gain agreement on proposed solutions to meet approved business requirements. This
    includes strategically leading client-facing requirement gathering sessions and
    successful documentation of highly complex business, technical and data
    requirements, leveraging standard processes and best practices. May help create
    standard processes for the role.
    Defines the end-to-end solution to meet the complex business requirements and
    solutions to ensure the ability to deliver valuable business insights (such as CRM,
    reporting, data integration, marketing tools, and customer success)
    Uses independent judgement and advanced analytical skills to analyze highly complex client data for availability, quality, and sources to ensure internal stakeholders have the necessary information to deliver committed business outcomes.
    Creates and executes User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of full end-to-end solution
    Supports the ramp and facilitates adoption of deployed solutions post-launch, continuously assessing and addressing areas of improvement and optimization.
    Provides guidance and mentorship to more junior level analysts on more complex issues as needed. Will receive mentorship on new business problems and highly complex projects.

Required Skills

    The ability to dynamically shift communication styles between client stakeholders, business leaders, and technical resources to maintain alignment and clarity.
    Advanced knowledge with and/or deploying business solutions (such as Salesforce,
    etc.)
    The ability to analyze and/or report from highly complex data from multiple data sources. Complexity can vary based on several factors such as size, number of systems, variables or dynamics of customer and/or data.
    Previous experience of directly owning and deploying solutions spanning technology, tools, data, and reporting.
    Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (especially Word, Excel and
    PowerPoint)
    The ability to operate in an ambiguous environment while managing multiple parallel, and often competing, work streams.
    Experience working in global work environments where resources are not co-located,
    while remaining focused on common objectives and outcomes.
    May be required to be Salesforce Administrator Certified
    May require knowledge of expanded analysis solutions/tools (such as LTP/OLAP data structures, advanced Excel, Toad, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.)
    May require knowledge of domain languages (such as SQL Query, etc.)
    May require experience with requirements documentation tools (such as Jira, Rally,
    etc.)

Preferred qualifications and experience

    12+ years business experience, 7+ in a Business Analyst or Solution Architect role
    Salesforce Services or Sales Cloud Certified
    ECBA OR CCBA Certification a plus
    Bachelor’s degree/Diploma, or the equivalent, preferred. Degree/Diploma in computer science, information systems or similar degree is a plus.
    Experience migrating and/or consolidating systems and data solutions to support acquisitions and/or technology transformation initiatives
