The Role

To support the continued growth of The Honest Company, we’re hiring a temporary HR Business Partner/Generalist to support our People team’s strategy to help retain and grow best-in-class talent and provide employees with a great working experience.

As a HR Business Partner/Generalist, you’ll oversee and deliver HR initiatives and activities as they relate to a specific client group and/or a specific HR function. You’ll be a crucial component of our People team and expected to form effective relationships across the organization as you advise Leadership on key management decisions, serve as an employee champion, and strategically anticipate, analyze and respond to HR-related matters. You’ll also help support daily operations of key HR functions to provide guidance, support, and solutions across a breadth of People Operations-related activities.

What you’ll do:
• Provide expert-level knowledge and experience as needed
• Conduct HR business analysis and make recommendations to improve processes and policies
• Guide talent management and employee retention initiatives
• Build and champion HR processes and new initiatives from the ground up
• Support annual review process
• Provide compensation and benefits guidance
• Compile monthly and quarterly HR reports
• Support employee engagement efforts and internal HR communications
• Use expertise to guide operational decisions across the organization

What you’ll need:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years experience in a related role building HR programs
• Strong leadership presence with exceptional relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to present technical HR information to leadership in clear, compelling terms
• Strong background in building out employee programs and initiatives from the ground up
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and responsibilities in parallel

Bonus points for:
• PHR or SPHR certification
• Experience within a high-growth tech or CPG company
• Significant experience managing benefits and compensation programs
