Design Director at Marin Software

Marin Software is looking for a hands-on Design Director who will own the vision for our brand and then roll up their sleeves and execute. We need someone with a combination of visual design creativity and solid knowledge of web building (HTML, CSS, UX) to join our Marketing team as an individual contributor. We are a small, collaborative team seeking someone who gets excited at taking ownership of a diverse set of projects.

This person will be responsible for all aspects of our digital and print communications to support our marketing and sales efforts, including our web site, sales collateral, presentations, videos, and more. We are looking to find someone with fresh ideas that will challenge us to be better and help grow our business.

Sounds great, what does my day to day look like?

  • You will own Marin’s visual identity and branding
  • Conceptualize visual identity for campaigns and design images, emails, videos, social media assets, landing pages and more
  • Design and product marketing deliverables such as web sales sheets, trade show materials
  • Design and produce sales and marketing presentations
  • Generate and share ideas that help improve our marketing campaigns
  • Maintain and continuously improve Marin’s corporate website
  • Measure how marketing materials are performing, and figure out how to make changes to increase engagement and conversions
  • Consult with our product team on UX for our applications 

What experience and skills do I need?

  • 5+ years design experience, bonus points for experience selling to an enterprise customer base
  • A passion for design, layout, and typography and all things digital, with an eye for detail
  • A talent for visually communicating complex ideas
  • Ability to produce results independently and in a small team environment
  • Agility and flexibility to work on multiple projects with fast turnaround
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign)
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, Javascript, CSS and Wordpress
  • Experience with Marketo or similar marketing automation tools
  • Highly organized and able to work on concurrent projects
  • Examples of your clean and modern design style shown in your online portfolio

Even better if you have the following:

  • Understanding of digital advertising, especially Google, Facebook and Amazon
  • Video Editing knowledge (Adobe Premier)
  • UX design experience
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Jquery & PHP experience
  • Google Slides experience
