Infinera is a company that is growing, and the tax team is growing on a global basis with it. This position reports to the Director of Tax in Richardson, Texas. You will be responsible for the foreign tax components of the global tax provision every quarter and coordinating with the global tax team to report the tax provision on a timely and accurate manner. You will also manage the preparation of the foreign entity tax forms in conjunction with the consolidated US federal tax return. Strong leadership and communication skills are going to be necessary in order to be successful. You will have the opportunity to manage, mentor and develop staff as well as work with professionals around the world.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision (ASC 740) for the foreign group of entities as part of the global tax provision.
  • Assist with US GAAP reporting for non-US acquisitions and integration of acquired entities.
  • Provide technical tax accounting advice on various international tax accounting issues on, but not limited to, intercompany transactions, business combinations, valuation allowances, leases and debt instruments.
  • Working knowledge of Transfer Pricing.  Making sure quarterly JE’s are posted and Intercompany agreements are properly maintained.
  • Prepare analysis and documentation regarding foreign tax issues related to tax reform including Subpart F income, GILTI, BEAT, 163(j) and E&P adjustments.
  • Maintain foreign tax credit schedules.
  • Review the reconciliation and analysis of tax accounts for foreign entities.
  • Maintain knowledge of US GAAP rules and ensure proper application as part of the company's tax reporting processes.
  • Manage the preparation of the foreign-entity tax forms included in the US consolidated income tax return and various state income tax returns.
  • Manage the preparation of tax filings in foreign jurisdictions.
  • Manage the preparation of the estimated tax payments in foreign jurisdictions.
  • Review and advise management on compliance obligations in new international jurisdictions.
  • Knowledge of OneSource Income Tax Compliance

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a large CPA firm or large multinational company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Master’s degree in Taxation or CPA certification
