The Ads Policy team works closely with Twitter’s Ad Operations, Legal, Product, Public Policy, Comms and Sales teams to advise, assist and train internal partners on various ads policy matters. The team liaises with these partners around the full lifecycle of a policy - from initial legal and regulatory research, to implementation, to re-evaluation in response to incidents. Ads Policy is also responsible for partnering with Product teams to identify risks and collaborate cross-functionally, often navigating competing interests to mitigate such risks.We innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. We’re a learning organization with a growth mindset, and we’re always looking for ways to improve our policies and ourselves.What You’ll DoYou will perform core Ads Policy functions, including researching, drafting, and iterating on policies governing ads on and off of the Twitter platform. You will also partner with operation teams to identify scalable ways of enforcing policies through existing tools and resources. You will build relationships with stakeholders, act as a lead to more junior teammates, and support other senior team members and managers. As a senior member of the team, you will also: Lead the team’s global efforts to utilize data to drive greater impact across policy change and creation, policy training, product recommendations, and policy enforcement. Develop and maintain healthy communications across the team globally. Drive and coordinate projects among teammates and partners to produce necessary work products and achieve team and department goals. Develop deep knowledge of policy enforcement systems and processes and maintain relationships with partners in Operations, Product, and Engineering. Develop and strengthen relationships with Sales, Legal and Public Policy teams globally. Provide critical input into our strategic planning process and help to set milestones for junior team members. Continuously evaluate and propose improvements for existing policies, frameworks, and processes.Who You Are You have a consistent record of owning and successfully completing cross-functional projects from planning to implementation. You are passionate and enthusiastic about cross-functional work and capable of making decisions based on complex and sometimes ambiguous information. You are comfortable collaborating with a multinational team of partners and capable of building consensus. You have outstanding communication and writing skills. You are analytical in your approach to problems. You have experience in project and/or product management. You are patient, flexible, and open-minded. You are a great teammate and are comfortable working in a dynamic, fun environment.
