Rubrik is looking for an experienced Director of Technical Marketing with strong technical and communication skills to join our Technical Marketing team. You will focus on solutions that enable our customers to operate and scale our platform.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our marketers, product managers, and engineers to create an impactful technical content strategy. More specifically you will be responsible for leadership in the cloud data management space by creating technical content, leading webinars, public speaking, and communicating a clear technical message.


Where you can make an impact:

    Serve as a key leader on a team of subject matter experts responsible for creating technical content and representing the company at conferences and other field events
    Collaborate with peers in Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to design an effective technical content creation strategy
        Content can take many forms: technical presentations, white papers, blogs, demos, and more
    Communicate and execute the technical content strategy supporting go-to-market activities, to include articulating technical benefits, product messaging, competitive positioning, and building customer-facing technical content


Ideal background:

    Experience in a technical role such as consulting, systems administration, etc., with enterprise technologies
    Team-orientated leader with strong collaboration skills
    Passionate commitment to quality and success
    Ability to quickly solve technical challenges and align to business objectives
    Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    Takes a pragmatic approach to decision-making and design choices
    Previous experience in a technical marketing role and authoring deep portfolio of content
    Ability to plan, outline, and publish technical content on schedule across team
    Experience with public cloud vendors and technologies
    Experience with data center technologies, such as hypervisors, service catalogs, operating systems, databases, networking, storage systems, and more
    Experience leading a team made up of senior technical subject matter experts
    Located in North America with an ability to travel up to 30%
