About the Job: 

LiveIntent is looking for a passionate Director of Demand Sales with a proven track record of scaling sales teams, establishing organizational structure across multiple client types, and closely managing the productivity of a sales team. The Director of Demand Sales will deliver against revenue targets for net new revenue for companies leveraging LiveIntent’s DSP. The ideal candidate will be a true consultative business partner with their clients and exhibit high emotional intelligence and professionalism at all times. They are also well versed in the media and ad-tech landscape within New York City, with key relationships already established. The leader in this role is expected to attain revenue goals, manage profitability and motivate a growing group of individual contributors. This person will work in tandem with another Director and the VP of Sales to produce exceptional results.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executives in Business Development, Sales, Product, Marketing and Tech to drive revenue through LiveIntent’s DSP and integrated DSP partners (DV360, MediaMath, Trade Desk and more)
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales revenue targets in a competitive market
  • Responsible for hiring, managing, and scaling the sales team
  • Directly contribute to the product development process through active participation in product reviews by providing market & account insights
  • Manage existing pipeline, working closely with VP, Sales and EVP, Sales to constantly optimize efforts related to company-wide goals 
  • Use knowledge of the relevant market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Work cross functionally to implement effective and profitable growth strategies
  • Provide guidance to leadership on performance management and employee development for sales organization

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience coaching, nurturing, and managing sales teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with C-level stakeholders internally and externally
  • First person experience with ad technologies, such as: DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, measurement vendors (e.g. fraud, viewability, etc.) and data providers
  • Consultative selling skills with the ability to anticipate and overcome concerns by positioning value propositions in relation to client needs
  • Data-Driven individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexible, self-starting attitude; able to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels in the organization
