Community Manager, Community Partnerships at Facebook

The Community Partnerships team's mission is to empower community leaders to start, grow and sustain meaningful communities around the world. Our team serves community leaders to understand and address their needs in sustaining and strengthening their communities. We are responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with these important partners. We're looking for an experienced Community Manager to join us on the Community Partnerships team. You will be responsible for helping to develop and implement our community engagement strategy. You will be creating content, engaging with and inspiring group admins, and strengthening our connection with the community leaders we partner with. Community Manager, Community Partnerships Responsibilities
  • Oversee content creation (internal and external partners) and manage the content calendar.
  • Plan and execute content for one or more of our programs while collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure all content meets our standards, is relevant to the needs and motivations of community leaders, and to ensure a positive experience for our community leaders.
  • Surface and prioritize community feedback with the Facebook Groups product team and provide a feedback loop for group admins and help Facebook become a community leader with this audience.
  • Handle day-to-day community moderation of multiple Facebook communities of various sizes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of community management experience for a brand or nonprofit
  • Experience in managing content calendars
  • Experience in content creation and dissemination
  • Experience working cross-functionally with an array of internal teams and stakeholders, prioritizing tasks, and managing deadlines to balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Understanding of Facebook Groups management tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on a global scale with both internal and external partners
  • Experience working closely on data and insights to report out the impact of community engagement
  • Experience in coaching others and sharing community management best practices
  • Experience in community leadership outside of the Facebook Groups platform
