Partnerships Intelligence Manager at Facebook

As Partnership Intelligence Manager for AR/VR, your job is to work with the Director of Strategic Partnerships and cross-functional teams to provide detailed market and business intelligence at platform, product, technologies, and overall ecosystem level that informs Facebook’s Strategy, Product management, Product development, Research, Operations, and Finance for Facebook AR/VR. You will provide intelligence relative to competition, product portfolio, market and technology landscapes, OEMs and their customers and suppliers. This is a key role for which we are looking for highly driven, insightful, and resourceful individual.

Partnerships Intelligence Manager Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analyses of partner and competitive portfolios and businesses, with a deep understanding of their business models, financials, technology position, shipments, and strategic direction
  • Work across a broad range of internal and external partners to tell a comprehensive story
  • Provide recommendations for actions after conducting analyses, risks/opportunities assessments, and industry implications
  • Leverage industry knowledge, competitive benchmarking, and internal company intelligence to build and maintain robust industry forecast models
  • Work with key stakeholders to collect, analyze, define, and document roadmaps, dashboards, scorecards, and analytics
  • Detailed intelligence at platform, product, technologies, overall ecosystem level. For each company of interest create an “ID card” with stated strategy, financials, main customers and competitors, projected roadmap, SWOT, relevant acquisitions, insights from 10Ks
  • Analyze tear-downs made by external third parties, ideally via historical Sourcing experience
  • Ability to foster teamwork and partner to effectively garner consensus, information, and support for actionable ideas and decisions across teams in all levels of the organization
  • Communicate corresponding insights and market news at all levels in the organization on a weekly basis
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in tech industries
  • 10+ years of experience in market intelligence, strategy consulting, or similar fields
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • Demonstrated experience influencing business decision-making with data in a highly-distributed environment
  • Experience communicating with and to influence all levels of management
  • Experience operating in dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
