  • Work as a part of the extended software development team on Software Features/Bugs
  • Address Customer Escalations to Engineering
  • Diagnosing and debugging deep and insidious issues. Provide workaround and fixes for those issues.
  • Developing automation tools to find issues and do root cause and corrective action.
  • Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems, and design innovative solutions for customer requirements.
  • Work closely with development, test, documentation and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage with customers and support when needed to solve production issues.


  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Love of programming
  • Proficient in Python or any object oriented programming language
  • Expertise in working with Linux kernel, rpm package management, software upgrades, and systems knowledge
  • Experience building systems management software, preferably in a distributed system context 
  • Enterprise software experience and storage experience preferred
  • Experience working with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, Xen. VMware preferred
  • Familiarity with x86 architecture, virtualization and/or storage management
  • Familiarity with OS internals, concepts of distributed data management, and design/implementation tradeoffs in building clustered, high- performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems software
  • Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
  • Team player that works well in fast-paced situations and startup environments

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required. Advanced degree in Computer Science preferred
