Job Description:

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

Display the ability to troubleshoot highly complex Optoelectronic Line Modules down to component level.

Must be able to take and comprehend directions from simple to moderate complexity.

Ability to adapt to constant changes necessary to complete the tasks at hand.

Able to work well and maintain good and effective communication with management, engineering and technician peers to continuously improve manufacturing yields and throughput.

Ability to work and be flexible in daily routines in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

This individual must display or have the ability to meet the required electronic/optoelectronic troubleshooting skills to meet business requirements

This individual should understand the requirements of working in a high tech manufacturing team environment.

Needs to be able to learn new skills, processes and operations.

Once trained the technician needs to be able execute these learned skills with little to no oversight.

Experience with MS Windows operating system, MS Office software and Engineering software packages is required.

Shift Position:

5 days a week including weekends. If assigned second shift - Monday through Friday 3PM – 11:30 PM. If assigned third shift  - Monday through Friday 11PM – 7:30AM.

Must be willing to work over time when required.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Background in optoelectronics engineering manufacturing operations.


Minimum of a 2 yr. technical degree with 2+ years of electronic troubleshooting experience or a 4 yr. technical degree.
