The candidate will be responsible for design, development of Infinera SDKs (Software Development Kit) for Infinera specific ASICs using C/C++ in a Linux/RTOS environment.

The candidate will be responsible for design, development of Infinera SDK (Software Development Kit) for Infinera specific ASICs. The candidate is expected to design and implement Software APIs for these ASICs which then will be used in Infinera digital switching products.

The candidate will be involved in Pre- silicon Software development using Architectural model and/ or FPGA systems; the candidate will be involved in post silicon validation and debug activities. The candidate will work very closely with ASIC and Hardware design, Architecture and Application Engineering teams to define requirements and architecture for the embedded processor eval boards and to implement the necessary software support.

Specific requirements include...
Must have:

  • Overall 8+ years of industry experience with minimum 3+ years hands on ASIC SDK development experience
  • Coding and debugging experience in C/C++
  • OS: Linux/VxWorks and/or other RTOS experience is required
  • Must have direct work experience in Embedded/device driver/Protocol Software Design and Development
  • Excellent design analysis skills and understanding of ASIC, HW and software interactions
  • Has written SW drivers based on ASIC data sheets/registers specs
  • Work experience in SONET, SDH, OTN and GIGE is a plus

Educational Requirement:

Candidate must have a Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in CS or EE with good academics.
