As Marketing Operations Manager, you will work on marketing projects and teams that impact Twitter's business in Greater China. You are experienced at solving ambiguous issues leading analytical work streams, applying sound business judgment and communicating complex issues effectively. 

 

You will have experience in a consulting environment (or similar), and you are a self-starter who can work in a rapidly changing digital ad industry. You tolerate ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business marketing and sales leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational go to market initiatives.
  • Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and developing final recommendations.
  • Communicate findings to senior management and to the broader organization.
  • Drive recommendations through to implementation and gather results.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in management consulting or equivalent project management experience in a technology/media company.
  • Complete Mandarin & English fluency & proficiency in other language(s) of China a plus.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or a graduate degree in a management, technical field.
  • Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills combined with impeccable business judgment
  • Passion for Twitter, selling, storytelling, customer needs, market dynamics and uncovering and executing on new opportunities
  • Demonstrated understanding the advertising industry in Greater China, with deep understanding of online advertising.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to translate complexity into simple, accurate, and intuitive communications and instruction.
