Your Opportunity

New Relic is looking for an Associate Business Partner to join our Sydney office to work on various People Operations projects. This person will have the opportunity to collaborate with ANZ people managers, manage HRIS processes, assist in researching and implementing new programs, plan and execute human resource strategies, and work on special projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the go-to people partner for all leaders within the ANZ region.
  • Run induction training and development programs for employees and managers, including new manager and performance conversation training
  • Roll out global people initiatives and programs including talent review, performance conversations, annual compensation cycle, and succession planning
  • Support employees and managers throughout the cycle including new hire experience, performance management, redundancies, and exits
  • Assist in developing processes, policies, and procedures, as well as the development/implementation of associated communication plans.
  • Serve as a contact for all employee benefit questions, administer wellness program, resolve employee coverage inquiries, etc.
  • Assist with the input, maintenance, accuracy of employee data, ensuring timeliness, and completeness.
  • Partner with our outside immigration attorney for visa related matters.

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 5+ years related experience hands-on Human Resources or People Operations generalist position
  • Previous experience with high tech and/or high growth companies is preferred
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of HR administrative policies, procedures, regulations, and legislation
  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong project management and follow-through skills; ability to organize and drive completion of multiple projects
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems
  • Demonstrated experience working with confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Nice-to-have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource management or related field preferred
