Senior Financial Analyst at Axiom

 We are looking for an energetic Senior Financial Analyst who is naturally curious and has a passion for both business partnership and analysis. As Senior Financial Analyst on our FP&A team you will be the finance business partner to key functional leaders, ensuring operational plans are aligned with financial goals and creating transparency that allows us to make the right decisions, as we propel the business towards $1B in revenue and beyond. Your focus will be on partnering with business leaders for budgeting, headcount planning, forecasting and monthly plan vs. actual performance analysis, coordinating with other Finance team members to drive the monthly closing and expense reporting process. Additionally, this person will:

  • Lead the operating expense forecast and budget for the Corporate and R&D Functions
  • Prepare and lead monthly financial reviews with various leadership teams
  • Drive analysis and reporting on both headcount and operating expense line items
  • Develop relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and business partners
  • Manage, track and report all headcount-related activity
  • Implement process improvements and improve operational efficiency
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to drive actionable recommendations to leadership

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 2-5 years of FP&A work experience
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Finance for a consulting or other service company preferred
  • Superior Excel skills
  • Debt compliance reporting
  • PBCS or Workday Financials experience a plus
  • Experience using SQL/access databases a plus
  • Innate ability to build relationships with business partners, managers and colleagues
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter who identifies what needs to be done, or should be done, and then does it.
