Brief Description

Infinera (Sunnyvale Office) is looking for a Firmware (FW) Design Verification Test (DVT) Consultants to develop a highly reliable DCO optical control firmware. The hired Firmware DVT Consultant will work on multiple tasks in a dynamic engineering environment:  Develop test plan in all types of tests, automate test via scripting with Python, and integrate test scripts with real HW/FW.

Job responsibilities

Infinera (Sunnyvale Office) is looking for a Firmware DVT Consultants to develop a highly reliable optical control firmware for DCO module.  Duties will include but are not limited to:

Design/document test plans & procedures for design verification tests of firmware functionalities, optical control performance, and FW reliability. Develop auto-test SW using Python. Integrate auto-test SW with real HW and FW

Job Requirements

The candidate shall hold a minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university. Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in embedded SW and/or FW tests and auto-test SW development.

Excellent experience in software and/or firmware DVT and test software development using Python scripting Good understanding of real-time embedded firmware, digital hardware and optical networking Good knowledge of optoelectronic devices such as optic transceiver/client optics such as ACO, DCO, TROSA is desired. Testing experience of client optics FW will be a big plus. Excellent communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills
