Clearinghouse Coordinator at Kareo

As a Clearinghouse Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring quality, driving objectives and upholding business standards between Kareo and our Clearinghouse partners.  This role will act as a key stakeholder in any and all cross functional efforts related to clearinghouse efficiencies, initiatives and deliverables. You will partner with our product teams related our Clearinghouse Product Roadmap and our FP&A teams for COGS related to Clearinghouse expenses.

Your Area of Focus

  • Coordinate effort, optimization, and execution of partner contracts; both maintenance and adherence
  • Assist in forecasting, pricing and planning efforts across all Clearinghouse partners in partnership with our financial team. You will own the financial portfolio and profitability of our Clearinghouse strategy and partners
  • Maintain financial and operational reporting
  • Facilitate monthly and quarterly touchpoints and business reviews (QBRs)
  • Act as the primary contact for all business-related updates and communication
  • Oversight of cross-functional clearinghouse performance standards
  • Drive partnership efforts as needed to meet our desired customer experience
  • Act as a shared service for product, technology, and operational teams
  • Oversee and assist in developing monthly and quarterly clearinghouse roadmaps and initiative roll outs
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement or efficiency within the partnership
  • Assist with developing new SOPs, processes, and trainings to improve partner workflows, guidelines and company knowledgebase

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Project Coordination and/or Management
  • Proficient knowledge and/or work experience related to Clearinghouse, Medical PM/EHR Software and ANSI transactions is a MUST!  We are looking for strong billing domain expertise.
  • Ability to work positively under pressure
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details

  • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies related to project coordination
  • Ability to work independently - self-starter who is self-motivated, and results driven with little direction
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders

  • Ability to identify systemic issues and make recommendations for future improvements
