Chargeback Operations Associate at Turo

We are looking for a team-oriented payment risk operations professional to join Global Trust & Safety Operations at Turo. This dynamic position encompasses all required duties in chargeback dispute management including detecting, reviewing and investigating disputed and fraudulent transactions, accounts, escalated customer disputes, and any other issues related to payment and fraud risk at Turo. 

You will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our diverse and talented teams while playing a key role in the success of the business. The ideal candidate has superb judgment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a keen eye for details. 

This position is based in our Phoenix, AZ office.

Responsibilities

Review, investigate and classify chargeback disputes, transactions and accounts 

Effectively resolve chargeback submissions in an accurate and timely manner

Use internal and external tools to make decisions while uncovering patterns and trends

Maintain communication with customers and stakeholders involved in disputes

Assist Fraud Prevention and Investigations by reviewing accounts and transactions 

Drive new bookings by assisting customers with account holds due to chargebacks

Collaborate with team to build out processes and maintain a safe marketplace

Proactively provide suggestions for improvements and contribute to team projects

Qualifications

1-3 years of Chargeback, Banking, or Trust & Safety experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, drive and embrace change

Superb and dynamic communication, interpersonal, and investigative skills

Commitment to high responsiveness and availability, strong ability to prioritize

Can quickly adapt to new technology and systems: experience with Zendesk, CRM systems, Google Docs, and MS Office preferred. Mac expertise a plus.

Team player with a positive mental attitude, high energy, high integrity, strong work ethic, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and a commitment to the mission

BA/BS or work equivalent required
