Turo is looking for an experienced Business Systems Administrator to join our ITOps team, to serve as the systems subject matter expert and business partner for the Operations organization throughout Turo. Under the guidance of the IT Director and support from other business stakeholders, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of tools for over 500 internal and external users. You will need to juggle a diverse workload that includes application’s management, user lifecycle management, business workflow automation, troubleshooting and optimization. This is a great fit for someone who is passionate about technology and operations.
Own the user lifecycle management workflow for all Operations tools and optimizing the process over time with an automation first approach
Troubleshoot and resolve software performances to avoid any production impact for the operations team
Liaise with Global Systems helpdesk to resolve technical issues. (Experience working with Contact Center BPO is preferred)
Bridge gaps between IT and Operations to insure information assurance alignment with IT security
Collaborates with cross functional team members, identifies business requirements, including business data requirements, identifies gaps with existing processes and systems and works with functional areas to create conceptual and functional designs for system enhancements and implementations
Maintain expert-level understanding of all tools features and releases to continuously improve effectiveness of the Operations team and enable scalability
Create and maintain process improvements with workflow automations across tools to help drive productivity and efficiency.
Represent Turo’s mission, vision and values with integrity and professionalism
5+ years of system, application, or contact center administration and 2+ years of Zendesk or similar CRM administration experience
Working knowledge of Developer tools including Zendesk apps and APIs
Strong experience and knowledge on managing Cloud and SaaS applications (Slack, Zendesk, In Contact, Solvvy, Ring Central, Ujet, Lessonly, etc.)
Experience in scripting with SQL and/or Python, for workflow automation and to extract large sets of data, and design of ETL flows
Proven ability to understand business processes and translate business requirements into application functionality
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proven ability to solve practical business problems using superior analytical skills
Proven project management, multitasking & prioritization skills
Ability to balance attention to detail with expeditious execution in a fast-paced environment
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; extremely organized
Demonstrated ability to influence and gain consensus
Bachelor’s Degree required (Information Systems related preferred)
Superb interpersonal skills with ability to clearly articulate to users and management
