These form the foundation of DataStax's culture and help drive our decisions.Job DescriptionAs the Total Rewards Leader you will drive the strategy around the design and execution of the companys global compensation, equity, and benefits programs ensuring they align with DataStaxs business needs, culture, and values creating a program that positions DataStax as an employer of choice.What you will do: Conduct and research best practices, perform benchmarking and competitive analysis, evaluate emerging market trends and recommend innovative compensation and benefit strategies, policies and programs designed to attract and retain team members. Be a strategist that owns the tactical aspects of the total rewards program. Create a scalable comp program Build deep and trusted partnerships with senior leaders and business partners across the organization. Partner with the People Ops and Recruiting Business Partners to provide comprehensive counsel on all compensation programs and processes, including strategic hires, top talent retention, job leveling and annual planning cycles. Conduct annual and midyear compensation benchmarking (position analysis, leveling evaluations, and pricing) and update ranges and structures as appropriate. Lead annual strategic planning, in partnership with Finance, on company-wide rewards programs and budgets. Lead the companys global benefits strategy to ensure comprehensive plan design (health, welfare, and retirement), while balancing cost-competitiveness, and scalability. Work with external consultants and internal stakeholders to provide ongoing plan administration, education and employee support as necessary. Manage and administer the 401(k) Plan, Investment Committee, compliance, and plan audits.Your experience should include: Leading a comp function in a Pre IPO High Tech company Hands on experience with designing and implementing a comp program this is a true differentiator Deep knowledge of executive and non-executive global compensation programs including equity planning and practices, base salary, variable pay, job evaluation, data analysis, research and predictive and project modeling. Experience with benefits administration and knowledge of health and welfare, and retirement benefits strategy, design and best practices. Increasing experience with global compensation analysis, design and administration. Strong analytical, project and process management skills. Excellent at analyzing, synthesizing and drawing conclusions from data quickly and accurately. Working in a dynamic People Operations organization that requires strong partnership skills to support the business. Managing comp plans within a Workday environment
