THE ROLE:

You will be part of a team of sales operations resources responsible for driving efficiencies in process, policies, and systems to support a world-class sales organization.  The success of the sales team will be directly impacted by your team’s ability to support them in their day to day sales activities.  

Success in this role will include ensuring a high level of data quality across the organization through sound data management in support of critical business processes. The steward is responsible for customer data integrity including hierarchies and relationships to deliver quality data that drives business decisions and supports critical business processes.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Working cross functionally in all data stewardship to support Lead to Quote, Quote to Contract, Contract to Order, and Order to Renewal processes required to maintain a world-class Sales organization.
  • Responding effectively and in a timely manner to process all lead conversions/account creation requests, in accordance with established SLAs.
  • Performing research and creating/maintaining customer hierarchies using a variety of tools including: Data.com, Dun & Bradstreet, Discover.org, the internet, customer websites, etc. This will include understanding reasons for company name changes and reorganizations such as mergers and acquisitions.
  • Researching, understanding, maintaining  and implementing the data governance processes and policies agreed upon by Sales Operations
  • Ensuring sales compliance with published sales and business approval policies and rules of engagement (ROE).
  • Merging of account information and all associated content where redundant information exists in corporate systems.
  • Closely managing fields that drive Sales territory alignments.


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Ideally you hold a bachelor's degree or 3-5 years experience in a sales support role.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Research skills using tools such as Dun & Bradstreet, Discover.org and the internet
  • Ability to analyze issues and situations systematically
  • Problem solver with attention to details
