Software Engineer – Contractor at Boku

Boku Inc is looking for a technically strong and highly collaborative Software Engineer to join its Carrier Integration Engineering team in Mumbai. Carrier Integration Engineering team is responsible for integrating Boku’s platform with our Mobile operator/Wallet partners globally.

 

What you’ll do

    Work closely with senior engineers, managers, TPMs and other stakeholders to maintain and enhance various web-service integrations
    Develop new features and enhance existing applications.
    Help troubleshoot production issues and help fix them on priority
    Understand various product flows and help with various configuration changes to enhance these flows

Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology

    2+ years of experience in Software Engineering role

    Java/JEE technologies as the main software development language
    Knowledge of 3rd party web services across technologies like REST, SOAP
    Spring/design patterns including dependency injection and inversion-of-control
    Software development tools such as JPA, Hibernate, Spring, MySQL, JUnit, and Maven.
    Knowledge of Linux fundamentals

    Prefer: Knowledge of SSL protocol and experience with SSL cert management
