As a Senior Salesforce Administrator you'll handle enterprise aspects of our Salesforce.com platform. To be successful, you'll need to be comfortable understanding business requirements, translating them to effective solutions, and socializing those solutions among your colleagues and business partners.
The Senior Salesforce Administrator role will be part of our Business Applications Team at New Relic, working side by side with Salesforce Administrators and Developers. We utilize agile principles and the scrum framework to deliver high quality build iterations within the tools we manage.
In addition to our Atlanta location, we are open to a remote Senior Salesforce Administrator who can work West Coast hours from a home office and who has >1 year of success working remotely with a distributed team!
What You’ll Do
Talk to end users and operations leaders to understand requirements, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and translating those requirements into technical specifications
Build new features and functionality in our Salesforce Org with custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, and lightning pages
Automate processes with workflow rules, validation rules, process builder, and flows
Identify reports and dashboards to measure the impact of build iterations
Support end users in real time with issues relating to Salesforce and supported applications
Deliver projects through our release management process
Lead all aspects of 3rd party application use and support
3+ years of Salesforce Administrator Experience
Salesforce.com Advanced Administrator Certification
Understanding of data structures, data modeling, & database schema
Experience building with Salesforce Lightning User Interface
Strong qualitative and quantitative mathematical skills
Strong business acuity in sales operations and customer support
Analytical skills to improve quality of iterative builds
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the organization
Project Management experience
Agile scrum master or product owner training
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or the equivalent related experience
