Content development, delivery, and accessibility are equally exciting and fun problems to solve. You are creative and innovative in the tools space, and always curious, eager, and able to pick up new technologies quickly.


  • Help build out ThoughtSpot’s content stack, including customizing our authoring and production environments and tools.
  • Bring the goodness of our documentation into our own products, to provide a seamless experience for our users.
  • Help improve a large quantity of existing documentation for business users, data specialists, administrators, customer support, and partners.
  • Develop tools to support our information architecture.
  • Evaluate documentation technologies and methodologies, to innovate and make our information solutions world class.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or more, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technical Communications, English, or related disciplines.
  • Solid, proven experience developing customer-facing enterprise software documentation.
  • Know how to select and deploy great, modern documentation infrastructure.
  • 2 years of experience in diverse environments developing, tooling, and deploying infrastructure projects for documentation teams.
  • Hands-on experience building structured content management technologies, with DITA, Markdown, Javascript, HTML, Git, GitHub, BitBucket, Jekyll, Jenkins, CSS, CMS, static site generation, Web Hosting, and related technologies.
  • You are technology-agnostic, and always look at the best possible way to achieve your objectives.
  • You are intimately familiar with developing topic-based and structured content, understand information architecture principles and content organization, and write for a global audience by default.
  • You have excellent writing skills that make information approachable for all clients: business users, data specialists, administrators, internal customer support, and partners. And you are highly motivated to deliver a top-notch customer experience.
  • You enjoy partnering with designers, developers, product, support, and customer success to ensure that your documentation is correct, high quality, intuitive to follow, and simple to maintain.
  • We prefer that you have domain expertise in Databases, Big Data, Search, and Business Intelligence, but it is not essential.
